Do I need a web site to use email blast?
No, email blast does not require you to have a web site, although
a web site does provide a powerful and effective communication and
marketing tool for your business. It also is a logical place to
send viewers who are interested in finding out more about company.
You will require access to the internet and an email address to
use and maintain your email blast account.
Can I include my logo in the template design?
Yes, we will incorporate the logo, colour and branding of your
business into your choosen standard layout design. Should you want
something different from our 6 template layouts, we can design a
completely new layout specifically for your business. We can also

Do I need any software?
No, our application is entirely web based - you just need access
to the internet.
How do I grow my database?
As part of the setup of your email blast! account, we will setup
an opt-in subscribe form at your existing website. This will be
set up to capture names and addresses only, or we can setup the
input data to capture other information relevant to your categories
which can be transferred directly into your email blast database.
You are also able to manually enter information into the database
using the user-friendly web interface.

What about my existing database?
As part of the setup of your email blast! account, we will transfer
your existing database into your email blast! account. You will
need to provide the database to us in either Access or Excel format.
This can also be exported from your Outlook address book if you
have one (some restrictions may apply and some additional charges
may be incurred).
What is HTML and do I have to know how to use it?
HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is what the internet uses to
send and receive information, it is the language of the internet
and YOU DO NOT HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT! When you send
out an email blast!, your recipients will view them in either HTML
(ie, with images, colour, animations etc) or plain text, depending
on their needs or requirements. From your point of view, HTML is
irrelevant as you will use email blast like a word processing application,
its that simple!
Are there limits to how many email's I can send?
No, Currently there is not limit to the amount of emails you can
send using email blast!

What is 'spam'?
Spam is annoying 'junk' emails. email blast! is not 'spam' as your
database will be made up of existing and interested potential clients.
Any new entries to your database will be due to viewers requesting
to join and they can choose to opt-out of receiving new emails by
selecting unsubscribe in the newsletter. Even your existing clients
can choose to not receive your newsletters if they wish. By sending
personalised and relevant information to your target audience in
a professional format, we believe that your emails will be well
received and that your message will get across to your target audience.
To avoid being seeing as spam, refrain from using gimmicky slogans
or imagery, your newsletters should reflect your existing business
style.
What about firewalls?
The email blast! application has been rigourously tested at both
a corporate environment level and within the filtering systems of
'free' email programs such as Hotmail. In addition, once you have
a sent a blast, you are advised how many emails were successfully
sent.
